In 2021, the South Korean drama Calamari Game shook the whole planet. With its childish games reimagined with serial killer sauce, the Netflix original series has received numerous accolades. The platform could not stop there and announced the arrival of a season 2 very soon. But that’s not all… Netflix goes further (too far?) with a reality show inspired by squid game.

If you thought season 2 of squid game was already too much, waiting for Netflix’s new project. Title Squid Game: The Challengewill be this reality tv show” the greatest reality competition series of all time according to Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s head of global television. Like the series, this show will use the same principle: 456 players compete in events to win $4.56 million. We just hope no death is planned in the program.
Among the events presented we will find games inspired by the original series, as well as new additions. All these games aim to test their strategies, alliances and character while eliminating others around them.
